What Is the 8 Ball Strike Cup?

  • Group rankings
  • Elimination brackets
  • BO5 matchups
  • Live Championship Finals
  • Real cash rewards
  • Creator coverage and reactions

The tournament uses an asynchronous 10-ball format, allowing players to compete through rankings and elimination rounds while advancing toward the Championship.

Creators like Troydan and Venom will also help bring more excitement to the event through livestream reactions, tournament content, and community coverage throughout the competition.

The event is available to eligible 8 Ball Strike players in:

  • The United States
  • Canada
  • The United Kingdom
  • Australia

Who Can Join the Tournament?

To qualify for the 8 Ball Strike Cup before June 10, players must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Have an 8 Ball Strike account that is at least 28 days old
  • Complete at least one Cash Match between May 31 and June 9
  • Make at least one Deposit

Players who meet the account age requirement but have not deposited yet can still qualify during the Preparation Stage (June 9 – 11) by completing a Deposit before the tournament officially begins.

Tournament Schedule

1. Preparation Stage

June 10 – June 11, 2026

Players can:

  • View tournament information
  • Check eligibility status
  • Complete Deposits if needed to qualify

2. Group Stage

June 12 – June 25, 2026

Players are assigned to one of 32 groups and compete against players within their own group based on total Cash Match profits.

3. Playoffs

June 26 – July 5, 2026

Top-ranked players enter BO5 single-elimination matches.

4. Championship Finals

July 16 & July 17, 2026

The remaining 32 group champions compete live for the championship title and cash rewards.

How the Group Stage Works

During the Group Stage, players compete within their assigned group to earn a spot in the Playoffs.

All eligible players are divided into 32 separate groups, and each player only competes against others within their own group — not the entire tournament player pool.

Group rankings are based on total Cash Match profits earned during the competition period, including:

  • Cash winnings
  • Bonus Cash winnings

At the end of the Group Stage:

  • The top 32 players from each group will advance
  • A total of 1,024 players will move into the Playoffs

Players can only view rankings within their own group.

If players finish with the same score, the player who reached the score first ranks higher.

This stage rewards consistency, activity, and long-term performance across the full competition period.

How the Playoffs Work

The Playoffs shift the tournament into full elimination mode.

The top 32 players from each group enter:

  • 1v1 single-elimination matches
  • Best-of-5 (BO5) format
  • First player to win 3 matches advances

The bracket progresses through:

  • 32 → 16
  • 16 → 8
  • 8 → 4
  • Semifinals
  • Finals & Third-Place Playoff

Each round takes place during a fixed competition window, usually lasting around two days.

To complete a round, players must:

  1. Enter the assigned tournament room
  2. Complete five matches
  3. Submit scores after every match

A round only counts once all five scores are submitted.

Scoring rules:

  • Higher score wins the individual match
  • First player to win 3 matches wins the BO5 series

Players who fail to submit scores during the competition window may forfeit the round.

At the end of the Playoffs:

  • The Top 8 players in each group receive Bonus Cash rewards
  • The group champion advances to the Championship

As the bracket narrows, each match becomes more intense and every mistake carries higher stakes.

How does the Championship Work?

The Championship represents the final stage of the 8 Ball Strike Cup.

The remaining 32 group champions compete in:

  • 1v1 single-elimination matches
  • BO5 match format
  • Official live broadcasts: July 16th & 17th

Championship Schedule

  • July 16: Round of 32 & Round of 16
  • July 17: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals & Third-Place Playoff

Official livestreams, creator reactions, and tournament coverage help turn the Championship into a full sports-style event inside 8 Ball Strike.

At this stage, each match carries championship-level pressure, where one loss immediately ends a player's tournament run.

8 Ball Strike Cup Prize Pool

The estimated total prize pool for the event is around $80,000, including:

  • $50,000 in Bonus Cash
  • $30,000 in real cash rewards

Championship Rewards:

  • Champion — $10,000 + A jersey signed by Argentina National Football Team players Lionel Messi, Enzo Fernández, and Julián Alvarez.
  • First Runner-up — $5,000
  • Third place — $2,500
  • Fourth place — $2,000
  • 5th–8th place — $1,000
  • 9th–16th place — $500
  • 17th–32nd place — $200

Additional rewards are distributed across multiple final placements, while Bonus Cash rewards are also awarded during the Playoffs based on final group rankings.

As players move deeper into the tournament, the competition becomes tougher and the rewards even bigger.
