AviaGames Is Recognized as a 2026 Digiday Video & TV Awards Finalist

AviaGames is proud to share that
Solitaire Clash's Wonderland Wishes campaign has been named a finalist in the 2026 Digiday Video & TV Awards, which recognize brands and campaigns that are redefining modern video, marketing, and media!
Digiday spotlights work that pushes the boundaries of storytelling and content innovation across digital platforms, with finalists selected from leading global brands and publishers.
This milestone follows our
Shorty Awards finalist recognition for the same campaign, where
Wonderland Wishes was honored in the Video Series category for its player-driven impact. While the Shorty recognition celebrated the community power behind the campaign, the Digiday recognition speaks to the craft and strategy of how we told that story through video.
Video Was the Strategy, Not Just the Format
With Wonderland Wishes, video wasn't something we layered on top of a campaign brief — it was the core of how we built the whole thing. From the start, we knew that if we wanted Solitaire Clash players to connect with
Foster Love's mission on a human level, we had to show it, not just say it.
That meant producing content across multiple formats: scripted ad spots, short-form social content, a live-streamed event, and our
Beyond the Game player documentary series — each serving a different role in the story, but all pointing toward the same emotional truth: that playing a game can make a real difference in someone's life.
The Right Voice Makes A Difference
A campaign about foster care only works if it feels real. That's why we partnered with
Leo Gonzalez — a TikTok creator who, alongside his mom, has a deep personal connection to the foster care community. With 1.8 million followers who trust his voice, Leo brought an authenticity to the campaign that couldn't be scripted.
Leo didn't just appear in the content — he shaped it. The balance of humor and heart in the ad spots, the tone that made people want to watch rather than scroll past came from his genuine investment in the cause. It's a hard thing to get right, and it made a real difference in how the campaign connected with audiences.
Where We Go From Here
Wonderland Wishes raised $136,000 for Foster Love over five weeks, powered by 691 million in-game Wish Stars earned by Solitaire Clash players. But the Digiday recognition is a reminder that how you tell a story matters just as much as the story itself.
This campaign reflects a deliberate direction for AviaGames — building content that earns attention rather than just buying it, and investing in creative partnerships that bring real credibility to what we're doing. The marketing bar for games can be more than "did it drive installs." It can be "did it mean something."
We're grateful to everyone who made Wonderland Wishes possible — our players, our collaborators, and the team behind the camera and behind the scenes. This one's for you.
