Wonderland Wishes Offline Charity Event: Sharing the Christmas Spirit with Foster Love Through Solitaire Clash
Game Events Feb 4, 2026
As the new year began, the holidays were behind us, but the spirit of giving had not faded. Through the
Wonderland Wishes Offline Charity Event, AviaGames extended the impact of its
Solitaire Clash Christmas campaign to support foster youth, in partnership with Foster Love.
Held on January 16 at Foster Love's onsite location in Brea, California, the gathering brought together college students, members of the
Solitaire Clash player community, and AviaGames staff, all sharing the same tables, tools, and purpose. What started as a holiday celebration inside a game became something deeply personal: people showing up in person to give their time, creativity, and care.
The
Wonderland Wishes initiative began inside
Solitaire Clash, and the offline event carried that same sense of participation and togetherness into a shared physical space.
Extending the Real-World Impact of the Solitaire Clash Christmas Event
The Wonderland Wishes Offline Charity Event was designed to feel like a journey. Participants were welcomed, inspired, and ultimately empowered to create something tangible for foster youth. The day began with the announcement of the donation amount, setting the tone and reminding everyone why they were there. From there, the program moved into the gaming industry sharing session, followed by Leo's story, and then into the hands-on volunteer activities that became the emotional center of the day.
Gaming Industry Sharing Session: Careers, Creativity, and Opportunity
Our Gaming Industry Sharing Session gave students supported by Foster Love a look behind the games they play and the people who build them, while opening their eyes to gaming as a creative and professional path. We started with a simple check-in: who plays games regularly, and who has ever wondered how a game is made. That single moment changed the room. Hands went up. People smiled. It immediately felt like a conversation, not a lecture.

We talked through how a game like
Solitaire Clash comes together through collaboration across teams: design, art, engineering, product, marketing, community, and player support. We walked through each phase of the game development pipeline in plain language — idea, research, design, build, test, launch, and updates — so it felt approachable and real. You could see it clicking for students as they realized there isn't one "right" path into gaming. There are creative paths, technical paths, and plenty of roles that reward communication and problem-solving.
When we opened it up for Q&A, the energy shifted. Students asked thoughtful questions about skills, career paths, and what day-to-day work looks like in different roles. That's the part we'll remember: the moment when curiosity turned into possibility. The session didn't just explain the industry. It helped students picture themselves in it.
Leo's On-Stage Sharing: Personal Story and Purpose Behind Wonderland Wishes
Leo's time on stage brought the heart of the day into focus. He spoke openly about his family and the challenges he and his mother faced, and how those experiences shaped his deep connection to the foster care community.
As Leo spoke, the room grew quiet. Everyone listened closely. His story made the purpose feel personal. It reminded all of us that the things we were about to create — the kits, the bikes, the messages — weren't just activities. They were gifts that could make a child feel seen, supported, and cared for. In that moment, it felt less like a campaign and more like a shared responsibility we were proud to carry.
Fun Craft Activities at the Solitaire Clash Charity Event
When the activity block began, the space came alive. Laughter, conversation, and focused teamwork filled the room as players, students, and AviaGames staff worked side by side. These fun activities weren't busy work. They were shared moments of care: people creating something meaningful with their own hands during an event built around the community.
Sweet Case and STEM Box Craft Station
At the arts and crafts tables, participants decorated Sweet Cases and STEM Boxes with genuine care and intent. You could see people pause before writing a message card, thinking about the child who would read it. Some kept it simple and encouraging. Others got creative with drawings and bright colors. Either way, each box carried a personal touch, the kind that makes charity giving feel human, not abstract.
Bike-Building Station
Nearby, small teams assembled bikes step by step. It took patience, communication, and trust. As the final bolts were tightened and the bikes lined up, there was a visible sense of pride. These weren't just completed builds. They were future rides, freedom, and smiles waiting for the children who would receive them.
Community Stories and Interviews
Throughout the activity, we captured short interviews with students, players, Leo, and our AviaGames team. What came through wasn't scripted. It was genuine. People talked about how good it felt to show up, how meaningful it was to create gifts directly, and how different it feels when charity giving is done together in the same room. Moments like that are exactly why this event mattered.
The Lasting Impact of Wonderland Wishes and the Solitaire Clash Christmas Campaign
The
Wonderland Wishes Offline Charity Event showed us how
Solitaire Clash Christmas can become something deeper than a seasonal moment. It became a reminder of what community looks like when people choose to show up with open hearts.
As the day closed, with Sweet Cases packed, STEM kits assembled, bikes lined up, and group photos taken, the room held a quiet sense of fulfillment. It wasn't loud. It wasn't flashy. It was real. In that moment, it felt like a shared promise and a reminder of what's possible when people and
companies that give to charity come together to do something good.
If the day showed anything, it's that this community is about more than just playing a game. Being part of the
Solitaire Clash community means staying connected to
Wonderland Wishes, staying in the loop on updates, and being around people who like to show up and help when there's an opportunity.
