AviaGames Announces Collaboration with California MBA Students on Solitaire Clash Research
Industry News Feb 27, 2026
We at
AviaGames have big news! As an award-winning mobile gaming company, we are excited to announce our collaboration with
UC San Diego's Rady School of Management MBA program (
Rady Action Project) on a strategic project focused on one of our most popular titles,
Solitaire Clash.
The MBA students will conduct research throughout March 2026, then evaluate findings and identify strategic opportunities to help Solitaire Clash expand its player base while continuing to support and engage our strong existing community. By taking a thorough, data-driven approach, we aim to gain deeper insight into what players truly value in mobile games.
Vickie Chen, CEO of AviaGames, said, "At Avia, we are committed to the importance of academic research to better serve our player audience." The statement reflects our long-term philosophy: put players first, innovate responsibly, and build sustainably.
Solitaire Clash: A Standout in the Mobile Games Market
With more than 60 million downloads and 450 million monthly tournaments,
Solitaire Clash has remained a leader of its genre in the iOS and Galaxy app stores. It brings players into a fun, skill-based Klondike solitaire experience, offering competitive tournaments and an opportunity to win rewards, including through creative in-app events like Flower Frenzy, Puzzle Mania, and more.
This collaboration with the
Rady School of Management will bring key insights into the mobile game player base. The MBA students will evaluate competitive dynamics, audience segmentation, and long-term positioning in the U.S. market. The findings will help inform high-level messaging, growth strategy, and player engagement initiatives.
A Real-World Learning Opportunity for UCSD MBA Students
This collaboration is a valuable experiential learning opportunity for MBA students at
UC San Diego. The Rady Action Project allows experienced graduate students to apply executive-level thinking to real business challenges. Instead of working on hypothetical case studies, they are diving into the fast-moving world of
mobile games, analyzing real data, and developing actionable recommendations.
As Sandy Kenny, Executive Director of the
MBA Rady Action Project, shared, "The Rady Action Project allows our experienced MBA students to apply executive-level thinking and communications to real business challenges while delivering meaningful value to the corporations and our students."
This is collaboration in its truest form.
What This Means for the Future of AviaGames
By working alongside the
Rady School of Management, AviaGames is strengthening its ability to make informed decisions about
Solitaire Clash and future
mobile games in its portfolio. This will lead to continued improvements, thoughtful updates, and a gaming experience shaped by both industry expertise and research-backed insights.
