How AviaGames' Community Tops the US iOS Free Charts
Industry News Apr 2, 2026
Keeping pets at work has become increasingly common in many game companies, but few companies receive international financial media attention for this practice.
AviaGames was highlighted by
Fortune magazine for adopting two rescue cats,
Tangtang and
Jiabao, to reflect the company's gentle and inclusive office values. They were welcomed after all employees voted to adopt them, with Tangtang having lost an eye after abuse and Jiabao having all his teeth removed due to stomatitis.
Headquartered in Silicon Valley, AviaGames has established a strong presence in the US through its casual competitive games. Many of its titles have ranked highly on the US iOS charts, with cumulative downloads exceeding 70 million and sustainable profitability. The
Pocket7Games platform is among the most popular casual competitive platforms in the United States.
With support from a core team from the Chinese game industry, including members from NetEase and KONAMI, and $60 million in funding from ACME Capital and Makers Fund, AviaGames continues to grow steadily.
AviaGames CEO Vickie Chen shared in an interview, "The two cats have greatly boosted the team's enthusiasm and overall morale."

A Company Culture Rooted in Care and Compassion
This sense of care extends far beyond the office, as AviaGames integrates it into its games and player communities. From two cats in the office to large-scale
charity events involving millions of players, the company has proven through its actions that games can be more than just entertainment; they can be a bridge for spreading goodwill.
This philosophy is also reflected in heartwarming charitable initiatives and meticulous user support, ultimately fostering a compassionate industry atmosphere rarely seen.
From Garage Startup to a Leading Game Platform
Mountain View in Silicon Valley is the birthplace of many entrepreneurial legends, and this is where AviaGames' story began.
In 2016,
AviaGames CEO Vickie Chen and her partners started their business in a garage. Before this, Vickie had been working in the gaming industry for over 13 years. She entered the industry in 2003, initially responsible for developing marketing plans in the marketing department of Sohu Online Games, and later rose to the position of Business Development Director. She also served as Changyou's Global Publishing General Manager, where she was responsible for the overseas business development of the hit game
Dragon Oath (TLBB).
However, she does not consider herself a hardcore gamer. She said, "Most mid-core and hardcore games are geared toward male or hardcore players, while casual games often focus on single-player gameplay and lack competitive excitement. We are committed to making skill-based games more accessible to a wider audience." She identified a gap in the market, where non-hardcore players wanted games that were simple to play, engaging, and offered a relaxed community to connect with others.
In 2019, AviaGames launched
Pocket7Games, an all-in-one platform with over ten game genres, seamless account access, and skill-based matchmaking. To date, Pocket7Games has hosted over 2.6 billion matches and distributed hundreds of millions of dollars in cash prizes.
In 2020,
Bingo Clash climbed to the top 5 of the US iOS free charts, followed by multiple new releases in 2021, when AviaGames released eight new games. In 2022,
Bingo Tour achieved over 300,000 monthly downloads and won the NYX Gold Award in the Mobile Casual category. By 2024,
Solitaire Clash ranked No. 1 on the US iOS charts in its category, maintaining its position as a leading title. In 2025, global expansion continued alongside major community-driven charity initiatives.

AviaGames' Global Growth and Industry Position
With this product portfolio, AviaGames' net revenue has increased more than fivefold as it expanded from the United States to global markets, including the United Kingdom. Following the success of titles such as
Bingo Clash, Bingo Tour, and
Solitaire Clash, the company entered the top 40 global mobile game companies and established official partnerships with platforms like
Meta and
PayPal, with many of its titles ranking highly on the US iOS charts.
CEO Vickie Chen's vision has finally become a reality. She has also been recognized with honors such as the Silicon Valley Business Magazine Women's Impact Award, Forbes Global Chinese Elite TOP 100, and the 2025 Stevie® Awards for Women in Business "Best Female CEO of the Year." The company has also received awards, including the Globee®, Titan, and NYX Awards.
Turning Gameplay into Meaningful Social Impact
This commitment to the community is reflected in AviaGames' in-game initiatives. On August 18, 2025, the
Play For Paws event launched in
Solitaire Clash and
Bingo Tour, where the company partnered with the Nevada SPCA, a no-kill animal shelter. During the event, players earned "food" items through gameplay, and AviaGames donated $0.05 to the shelter for each in-game feeding interaction.
On September 18, 2025, to celebrate AviaGames' ninth anniversary, the event moved from online to offline, where AviaGames staff and invited players gathered at the shelter. Despite heavy rain in Las Vegas, participants toured the facility, cared for animals, and took part in activities such as grooming pets, preparing supplies, and creating accessories, with
CEO Vickie Chen also joining the team. At the end of the campaign, AviaGames donated $222,100 to the Nevada SPCA.
According to official statistics, the number of concurrent viewers for the "
Play For Paws" charity event livestream exceeded industry benchmarks, with total social media interactions exceeding 220,000.
In October 2025, AviaGames partnered with
Foster Love to launch the
Wonderland Wishes holiday event. This five-week campaign encouraged community storytelling and raised $136,000. This initiative also extended offline on February 4, 2026, bringing together 8 AviaGames staff members and 17 players, along with sponsored youth, at Foster Love in Brea, California, to take part in activities such as crafts and assembling bicycles.
Leo González, a TikTok creator with 3 million followers, joined the event to share his personal story and connect with the community. His story deeply resonated with participants, showing how meaningful experiences can extend beyond the game.

Building a Supportive and Connected Player Community
With more than 70% of
Pocket7Games users being female, AviaGames' community stands out for its supportive atmosphere. Most of them have no PC or console gaming experience and are balancing housework, workplace burnout, and the responsibilities of motherhood. They need not only entertainment, but also an emotional outlet and a moment for themselves, as reflected in stories like
Carrie, a working mother who found brief moments of relief through gameplay,
Sally, who turned to the game during periods of burnout and found comfort in its simplicity, and Stacie, who found moments of rest during a difficult period in her life.
In 2022, AviaGames surveyed over 33,000 female players with children in the United States who were active on
Pocket7Games:
- Nearly 33% identified as highly engaged mobile gamers.
- 60% used gaming as a regular form of entertainment.
- 40% used it to relieve stress.
- Nearly 70% were employed either full-time or part-time.
Players shared their lives, encouraged each other, and spread goodwill, creating a community atmosphere that feels warm and supportive, further highlighted during initiatives such as Mother's Week, where players received in-game messages and shared personal wishes. As CEO Vickie Chen shared, "Women can work hard and play hard too, and more and more mobile games are becoming an important part of their daily lives."
Where Games, Community, and Purpose Come Together
From rescuing two cats in the office to supporting animals and foster children, AviaGames demonstrates that games are not just entertainment products, but also emotional bonds connecting people. This warm community atmosphere is not something deliberately created, but rather a natural extension of the company's values.
In the casual gaming sector, AviaGames has found a unique path where business success and social impact go hand in hand, and where community warmth grows naturally from genuine values.
