What Is AviaGames?

Company Culture Feb 7, 2026

AviaGames (also known as Avia) was founded by CEO Vickie Chen and Co-founder Ping Wang with a clear vision: games shouldn't be just for hardcore players. They should be accessible, easy to pick up, and enjoyable for new or seasoned players. That belief continues to shape everything we build today.

Since then, AviaGames has expanded beyond the United States into markets including the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, Australia, and Denmark. The AviaGames expansion to Europe reflects this steady global growth while maintaining a focus on developing skill-based games that are competitive, reliable, and accessible.

Today, our games have expanded into casual game categories such as Solitaire, Bingo, Pool, Bubble, and Puzzle games, with real-money formats available across our collection.

At our core, we design experiences driven by player skill, where strategy, speed, and decision-making shape each match, while keeping gameplay intuitive and consistent for everyday players.

Want to hear the story behind it all? Watch CEO Vickie Chen share Avia's 10-year journey in the video below.

AviaGames Timeline and Key Milestones

Our Team and Culture at AviaGames

At AviaGames, it's more than just games. It's the team, the culture, and the shared experiences that shape everything we do.

A Culture Built on Inclusion and Growth

We're a female-founded company, and as shared by CEO Vickie Chen during the AviaGames interview at Women-Led Games, more than 40% of our team is made up of women, including many in leadership roles. That diversity shapes how we think about our players and the experiences we create.

Our culture is rooted in inclusivity, collaboration, and transparency, with a strong focus on recognizing contributions and supporting growth. Some of the ways we bring this to life include:
  • Pitch for Promotion Program: Employees can advocate for their own career growth through a structured presentation and review process.
  • Avia Culture Star Program: Recognizes team members who consistently reflect our company values in their work.
  • Avia Merchandise Program: Employees can collect points by taking part in company activities, from charity efforts to everyday moments, like celebrating birthdays, which can then be exchanged for exclusive Avia merchandise.
  • AviaSpark Program: Encourages knowledge-sharing across areas such as health and wellness, art and design, technology and engineering, and data analytics.
  • Employee Clubs: Team members can join groups such as badminton, billiards, soccer, basketball, table tennis, and cycling.

Together, these efforts create an environment where employees feel supported and encouraged to grow.

A Positive Workplace Environment

Our culture also shows up in the environment we create every day. Our office is home to two rescue cats, who have become part of the team and were even featured in Fortune magazine on boosting office morale for their impact on employee well-being.

Tangtang is a British Shorthair who lost one eye due to an early injury, and Jiabao is a rescued cat who survived a serious infection and has lost all of his teeth due to stomatitis.

Their presence has had a meaningful impact on our workplace. Based on internal survey data, more than half of employees feel more motivated to come into the office, with many reporting reduced stress and improved overall workplace satisfaction.

AviaGames Community Impact and Giving Back

Giving back is a natural extension of what we do. Through initiatives like Play for Paws and Wonderland Wishes, our games connect with real-world impact, supported by a growing AviaGames community that has helped our games reach the top of the U.S. iOS free charts.

Play for Paws, launched in Solitaire Clash and Bingo Tour, partnered with Nevada SPCA to support animal rescue efforts, raising $222,100 with the help of our players.

Wonderland Wishes, our holiday event with Foster Love, supports foster youth. Players collected over 691 million Wish Stars in the Solitaire Clash app, and AviaGames donated $0.02 per 100 Wish Stars — raising $136,000 over five weeks.

Together, these initiatives reflect how our community extends beyond the game, and we're excited to continue this through upcoming initiatives as we celebrate our 10th anniversary.

CEO Vickie Chen's Leadership at AviaGames

CEO Vickie Chen's leadership reflects AviaGames' focus on innovation, accessibility, and community-driven experiences. She has been featured in industry interviews, including App Developer Magazine, where she shares insights on accessible game design, mobile gaming trends, and integrating social impact into gameplay.

During our official debut at GDC 2026, Vickie was one of the main speakers in the AviaGames — PayPal Panel Session, discussing player experience, payments, and trust in skill-based gaming. We also participated in a separate session with Meta, focused on growth and partnership strategies.

Her leadership has also been recognized through several industry honors, including:
  • Entrepreneur of the Year at the Women in IT Awards (2022)
  • Women of Influence by the Silicon Valley Business Journal (2022)
  • Forbes China's Top 100 Global Chinese Elites
  • Outstanding Female Executive – Platinum Winner at the 2026 TITAN Women in Business Awards

These recognitions and engagements highlight not only Vickie Chen's leadership but also AviaGames' commitment to innovation, community, and growth in the gaming industry.

What Is AviaGames' Vision for the Future?

As we celebrate 10 years of AviaGames, our mission remains the same: to create accessible, skill-based games that are fun and rewarding. Under CEO Vickie Chen's leadership, we've earned recognition through awards like the Globee, Stevie, and Titan Awards, which reflect our commitment to creating casual games that are fair, secure, accessible, and enjoyable, leading the way in mobile gaming.

Our campaigns like Play for Paws and Wonderland Wishes show how our games connect with real-world causes, with our growing AviaGames Community playing a key part in making that happen. While we keep developing new games, we also continue to build a company culture that values diversity, collaboration, and inclusivity.

Looking forward, we're excited to keep innovating, expand our game portfolio, and celebrate our 10th anniversary with more exciting projects. With Vickie Chen's leadership, we can't wait to see where the next 10 years take us.
